Abstract

We have developed a new electromagnetic focusing system which has Focusing Magnet with convergence yoke(CY). This system can shorten distance from phosphor screen to focusing lens. It decreaces magnefication of focusing lens. As a result, we can improve the beam spot diameter on phosphor screen by 24%.
