Relation between Digital Values in CRT Monitor and CIE Colorimetric Values

Abstract

Chromaticity coordinates and luminances are measured for 729 color patches presented in a CRT monitor. Results show that the assumption of phospher independence is not held. Relations between digital input values and CIE colorimetic values of output colors are derived for the monitor tested.
