Abstract

We have developed HDTV standards converter for experiment. It can convert 1125/60/2 : 1 signals into 1250/50/2 : 1 signals, and vice verse. The standards converter is composed of a motion detector, a motion vector detector, motion compensated field rate converter and motion adaptive line rate converter. We give an outline of it in here.
