Development of PAL/SECAM Signal discriminator

Abstract

There are three kinds of color TV systems, NTSC, PAL and SECAM in the world, and a different TV system is used in each country and area. And so, TV and VCR in one area can receive two TV systems, especially PAL and SECAM. Therefore, they require the function to discriminate that the received TV signal is whether PAL or SECAM. Now, we have developed a new IC of PAL/SECAM signal discriminator. By using this IC, the production cost can be reduced.
