We are analyzing the shooting technique of broadcasting cameramen to develop an intelligent robot camera. From basic experiments in sports programs, we learned dynamic characteristics of cameraman's eyes and the camera. Here are the findings ; the gazing velocity is approximately 50deg/sec through the program, maximum value is more than 200deg/sec ; the maximum accelation of the camera while on air and while searching are about 200deg/sec^2,300deg/sec^2 or more, respectively ; etc.
