Abstract

A two-tube, single CCD color TV camera has been developed that is sensitive to wavelengths of 250-1050nm (from UV through IR) and uses the false-color method. The camera thus provides spectral information unattainable by the naked eye. It is possible to select a visible light color image or two kinds of invisible-light color images by changing the filters. Applications are expected in many fields, including science, education and industry.
