A Note on Interlace to Progressive transfform method using global motion segmentation

Abstract

Interlace to ptogressive transform method is important technology for video printing. But, it is difficult to construct this transform method for the video signal which contains several areas with different motions. In this paper, we propose new interlace to progressive method using global motion segmentation. In our method, we applied global motion segmentation for continuous 3-fields, and get motion segmentetion for one field. Then, we generate progressive image frame using this result.. We also demonstrate the performance of our method using computer simulaiton.
