Transmission experiment of CS digital broadcasting system prototype for 525-progressive scanning signal

Abstract

We have developed a digital broadcasting system prototype for 525-line progressive scanning signal (525p), which was composed of 525p real-time video encoder, multiplexer, 525pIRD etc. In order to verify feasibility of high quality service from the technical point of view, we executed the transmission experiment via CS. This result was matched with the result of the transmission experiment by BTA in spring 1995.
