Abstract

In order to overcome rain attenuation, two systems are considered in this paper to provide addition power to the 2 beams of a 6-bcam anttenna and the 3 beams of a 10-beam anttenna. In order to simulate, the use of rain data in the AMcDAS data is made. The rain data are converted to rain attenuation at 21GHz. By the use of these systems % time of outage in a year is expected to be reduced to 0.4%, approximately.
