Study of cameraman's zooming movement characteristics

Abstract

We are studying the shooting technique of broadcasting cameraman for development an intelligent robot camera. From basic experiments in soccer programs, we learned dynamic characteristics of cameraman's zooming. Here are the findings ; The range of the horizontal picture angle is about 2°〜17°; maximum velocity is over 220deg/sec ; etc.
