Analysis of camera movement in football game

Abstract

We studying an intelligent robot camera that shoots subject automatically. For this purpose, camera-work of broadcasting cameramen have been analyzed. In this paper, the position of subject in images was focused. Here are the findings ; broadcasting cameramen shoot the subject keeping space in the image toward the subject's moving direction, the fluctuation of the subject's normalized position in image ranged about 0.25 horizontally.
