We propose a new method to eliminate the impulse noise in received signals of Direct Broadcasting Satellite system, using WOS (Weighted Order Statistic) filter designed by neural network. To apply to the NTSC signals, we modify the window form of the WOS filter fitting for interlace scanning. We obtained the result that the WOS filter expand allowable C/N level about 1 to 2 dB.
