Abstract

Recently, video production using the Hi-Vision system has been showing very rapid growth. The all-digital video switcher is an extremly impotant element of high-end program production facilities in conventional TV systems. Therefore, it is natural that these technologies will continue to be used as we move into the next era of Hi-Vision systems. This paper describes the new Hi-Vision digital video switcer.
