The paper describes the experimental results of a three beam antenna with a paraboloidal reflector for application to a wind profiler radar. In order to determine the position of the primary radiators, the ray trace method is introduced. The radiation characteristics of the antenna with a paraboloidal reflector are compared with the radiation characteristics of the antenna with the reflector-lens, as proposed before[1]. The result shows that the antenna with a conventional paraboloidal reflector yields the same gains and a little bit higher level of side-lobes compared with the antenna having the reflector-lens.
