In recent years, display systems are widely used year by year. Furthermore, the elderly population is rapidly increasing. In order to improve visibility of in-car display systems for drivers, it's indispensable to display design that young designers can experience the visual performance of old people. This paper describes the system to simulate the visual functions and aging of elderly people. The proposed system is composed of image input devices, computer and display device. The method of this system is implemented by image processing techniques, which is intended to visualize three human vision properties ; a spatial response, a spectral transmittance of crystalline lens and an accommodation. We have concluded that this system plays an important role in understanding the virtual driving view of elderly people.
