TAO has developed the Research System, enabling total research for 3D-HDTV programing technology on all stages, from shooting, recording, editing to preview, for systematic elucidation. The Research System consists of two subsystem, 'Subsystem-A'and'Subsystem-B'.'Subsystem-B'consists of two rooms, the Editing Room and the Preview Room, the former is for editing and processing, and the latter is for preview andevaluation of 3D-HDTV program. Following report is outiine and operation of the Subsystem-B, mainly, the'3D-HDTV digital switcher'which was developed for this Research System especially.
