Abstract
The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of psychological signs of school maladaptation on the career decision-making of high school students by grade and gender, and to lead to determine methods for proper career guidance. The sample consisted of 358 high school students (155 first-year and 203 second-year students). The results indicate that in both their first and second years, those with high psychological signs of school maladaptation were more anxious about their career choices than those with low psychological signs of school maladaptation, suggesting that the early detection of psychological signs of school maladaptation is effective in supporting high school students’ career decision-making.
