Abstract
To improve the living environment in built-up area, the inner space of city block is one of the most importantfactors. It brings us not only the sunshine and draft but also the some effects of daily necesities.
The pupose of this paper is to find the types of open space structuring the living environment of city block in SUZAKA. There are three kinds of out-door spaces depending on the respective function. They are “the accessspace”, “the supporting living space”, and “the chink”. Through analyzing these types of space, I got the followingresults. SUZAKA has the 5 types of the open space structuring, and they are related to the access space and theliving supporting space such as their own characteristic functions. Especially, the common access space, which isrelated 3 types of them, has the different characteristic of access functions, such as the number of access or walkingarea, and thier form each other.
