Abstract
This paper makes clear the characteristics of favorite landscape in Oita city using questionnaire by citizen “My favorite 100 Oita Landscapes”. First, we decided the ranking of view points by results of questionnaire.
We took 360°Cpanorama photographs on 84 view points selected by the ranking. We cut off extents of objects as scenes from 360°Cphotographs. There were 239 scenes of all. These scenes were classified by combination of elements.
It was clear that there were 5 typical landscapes in Oita city. We analyzed visual composition to make clear the characteristics of typical landscapes.
As a result, visual compositions of each types were cleared by “viewing angle”, “distance of sight”, “difference of elevation”, and “relation between view point and object point”.
