Abstract
In experiments seeking for suitable industrial media for the submerged culture of Eremothecium ashbyii, glucose, sucrose, cane molasses, malt extracts, peptone, meat extracts, corn steep liquor, cereal germs and their extracts, beans and sardine meals were tested. A medium containing 3% (as sugar) of molasses and 5% of dried sardine meals was found to be most suitable.
