Abstract
The injection of vitamin D_2 to rachitic infants clearly caused a decrease of the calcium and iron amounts excreted in the feces and urine. The amounts of copper and phosphorus in the feces and of copper in the urine were scarcely changed, but phosphorus in the urine was decreased. However, the amount of potassium in the feces and urine was increased on the contrary to the case of calcium by the injection of vitamin D_2 and the result of sodium was similar to that of calcium.
