STUDIES ON THIAMINASE DISEASE : (II) BIOLOGICAL PROPERTIES OF AN AEROBIC THIAMINE DECOMPOSING BACILLUS AND ITS FERMENTATIVE ACTIVITIES OF THIAMINASE

Abstract

According to the studies on the biological properties and fermentative activities of thiaminase comparing with the other relating bacilli, it was clear that a bacterium which produces thiaminase isolated by the author can be distinguished from relating bacilli, especially B. thiaminolyticus Matsukawa et Misawa which resembles it.
