Abstract
Many reports (96) on the continuous intake or dosing of coenzyme Q_<10> and the increase of blood concentration were collected, and 128 pieces of data were analyzed for every dosage form. In every dosage form, the blood concentration in the steady state increased with intake, although the degree of increase depended on the dosage form. In formulations except for the water-soluble type, as the increase of blood concentration was saturated with increasing intake, the upper limit of intake that did not cause such lowering was found for every dosage form, and a regression equation of the intake and increase of blood concentration was found. The gradient of the regression equation for every dosage form was in the order of: water-soluble type > soft gel capsules ≧ tablet > wafers. Hence, the water-soluble type showed the best increase of blood concentration with intake.
