Basic Economic Statistics for ASEAN History: GDP and Trade

Abstract

In order to understand the history of ASEAN, basic economic statistics like GDP and trade are analyzed. The main sources are Ajia Doko Nenpo (Yearbook of Asian Affairs) published by Institute of Developing Economies, Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) and Direction of Trade Statistics, Yearbook by International Monetary Fund (IMF).
