Abstract
This paper evaluates a method for building a meta-database for accessing distributed digital archives. This meta-database provides an integrated accessibility for multiple digital assets in network. A trial system is used to evaluate the method for searching multiple target images from image archives. Experimental results show the improvement of retrieval of images from distributed digital archives through the method.
