Abstract
“1cm” is an image and sound installation work, which visualizes several sound loops as planetary orbital motions combined with the sound. In this work, each virtual planet goes around the sun on the orbital circle assigned to the sound loop. The overlapping way of the sounds can be changed continuously by modifying the length of the sound loop according to the radius of the planetary orbit. By operating the game-pad, users can explore this virtual solar system of the sound loops.
