Abstract
While it is acknowledged that preparing for large–scale disasters requires the implementation of community–based mutual aid efforts during normal times, modern society often exhibits weak connections among neighbors. Consequently, it is emphasized that fostering mutual aid intentions during disasters necessitates strengthening relationships among residents in noncrisis periods. This study outlines the creation of a PC-based disaster prevention game titled “Fire Simulation: Cultivate Mutual Aid Skills” as a strategy to promote and enhance mutual aid skills. Additionally, the study explores the shifts in mutual aid awareness resulting from engaging in the game.
