Synthesis and Crystal Structure of 4-(1,3-Diphenyl-1H-pyrazol-5-yl)pyridine

The title compound, C₂₀H₁₅N₃, was synthesized and the structure was investigated by X-ray crystallography. The compound crystallizes in the monoclinic crystal class in the space group P2₁/c with cell parameters a = 10.5700(6)Å, b = 12.2810(13)Å, c = 12.1750(13)Å, β = 94.429(7)° and Z = 4.
