Abstract
The nickel(II) complex [Ni(bmoen)2(DMF)](BPh4)2·DMF [bmoen = bis(2-methoxyethyl)amine, DMF = N,N-dimethylformamide], was synthesized and characterized by single-crystal X-ray analysis. The compound crystallizes in the monoclinic spaces group P21/n and Z = 4 with cell parameters a = 11.690(2)Å, b = 29.013(5)Å, c = 17.856(3)Å, β = 90.345(2)°, V = 6056(2)Å3. One of the bmoen ligands works as a tridentate ligand in a fac (facial) form, and the other bmoen ligand works as a bidentate ligand.
