Abstract
The structure of 7-(diethylamino)-3-(oxazol-5-yl)coumarin was determined by X-ray crystallography. The coumarin ring makes an angle with the oxazole ring. The N atom of the diethylamine group has a planar environment. The two ethyl groups of diethylamine are anti with respect to one another. Intermolecular C-H…O, C-H…N, and C-H-π interactions were observed in the crystal lattice.
