Abstract
A tetranuclear heterometal complex, [MnNi(L1-H)2(OAc)]2·2CH3OH [H2L1-H = N-(2-oxymethylphenyl)-salicylideneimine], was synthesized and characterized by single-crystal X-ray analysis. The compound crystallizes in a monoclinic system, spaces group P21/n and Z = 4 with cell parameters a = 10.638(2)Å, b = 11.483(2)Å, c = 23.538(4)Å, β = 95.505(3)°, V = 2862.1(9)Å3. The R1 [I > 2σ(I)] and wR2 (all data) values are 0.0682 and 0.1200, respectively, for all 6514 independent reflections. The tetranuclear hetero-metal arrangement is represented as defected double-cubane.
