Crystal Structure of β-D-Fructofuranosyl-[2↔1]-6-amido-6-deoxy-α-D-glucopyranoside

Abstract

A crystal of disaccharide, β-D-fructofuranosyl-[2↔1]-6-amido-6-deoxy-α-D-glucopyranoside, was prepared and its crystal structure was determined at the triclinic space group P1 with cell parameters a = 6.9140(5), b = 7.7202(5), c = 8.7383(7)Å, Z = 1, R1 [I > 2σ(I)] = 0.0235, wR2 (all data) = 0.0645. In comparison with the crystal structure of sucrose, the configuration around the glycosidic bond is similar.
