Vampirolepis isensis n. sp. isolated from the bats, Rhinolophus cornutus and R. ferrumequinicm, in Mie Prefecture is described. A list of bat tapeworms reported from various districts of the world and a table of the morphological features of tapeworms in Vampirolepis are given.
