Recently, ‘Frustrated Lewis Pairs (FLPs)’, which are formed from the specific Lewis acid–Lewis base combinations, have received considerable attention due to their unique activating ability of molecular hydrogen. In this short review, recent progress of structure-reactivity relationship of FLPs is described.
