Abstract
In order to confirm the condensation reaction of acetohydrazide and acetamide, separatory determinations of unreacted components as well as the supposed products, 3, 4-dimethyl-4-amino-1, 2, 4-triazole and 3, 4-dimethyl-4-aminotriazole, have been investigated. Acetohydrazide and 3, 4-dimethyl-4-amino-1, 2, 4-triazole were determined by iodometric method with accuracy of 99.0 % against the using of 0.1 mM sample. Acetohydrazide was analyzed from a mixture of 3, 5-dimethyl-4-amino-1, 2, 4-triazole with 99.0 % detection efficiency from using of 0.1 mM of the mixture by use of either K2HgI4, K3Fe (CN) 6 or KI03. Also, 0.1 mM of 3, 5-dimethy1-1, 2, 4-triazole was determined with 99.8 % accuracy by use of AgNO3 method or 99.7 0% accuracy in the presence of a large excess of acetohydrazide by use of an improved method. Reproducible analytical data were obtained by using either single or mixed sample.
