Abstract
Allylic sulfides, sulfones, and thiolesters are easily converted to allylic stannanes with tributyltin hydride via SH' process. Propargyl sulfides also provides allenylstannane in good yield. The mechanism for these new stannylation processes and their synthetic utilities are described. Related desulfurization processes using organotin species are also described.
