Abstract
Students from Asayake Workshop AE Class and Yasuragi-no-Sono D Class, who took the courses Teaching method on the period for integrated studies in the first half of the 2024 academic year and Special support education in the second half of the 2024 academic year, experienced nursing care during the summer vacation. By making presentations and writing reports after the event, they explored ways to express themselves through records. By reporting their experiences, they raised their awareness of the issues. The real-life experience gained through the Art and expression workshop deepened their understanding of people with disabilities and the elderly. These experiences will cultivate their communication skills necessary for education, and they will gain practical skills that should be cultivated in teacher training.
