Abstract
As a practical attempt to explore teaching methods for utilizing ICT in the elementary school curriculum, this study examined the class practices at A Elementary School in Yokohama City. Specifically, it considered how ICT is utilized or could potentially be utilized in actual classroom settings. In these settings, tablet devices, provided as one device per student, serve as tools for information transmission. This raises the challenge of how to effectively use tablets as a stationery item in learning. In a 45-minute lesson, the potential for practices aimed at balancing individualized learning and collaborative learning was presented by incorporating both individual tasks and collaborative tasks using tablet devices.
