本誌は 「技術報告」を掲載する査読付の「技術報告集」です。掲載する内容は、建築物または建築物に関わる事象を対象とした「技術報告」で、新たな事実の報告を重視しています。

The AIJ Journal of Technology and Design aims to accumulate and systematize knowledge on building and maintaining pieces of architecture as well as the cities or areas surrounding them through technological development and comprehensive research. Accordingly, it compiles technology and design reports and discussions in the following areas pertaining to buildings or building-related phenomena as well as disseminates relevant information:
1) New technology pertaining to the planning, design, construction, and operation of buildings, or to building-related phenomena
2) Results of technological development of new materials, structural methods, equipment, and computer software pertaining to buildings or building-related phenomena
3) New facts and documents from comprehensive research and development
4) Systematization of design and construction methods for buildings
This journal shares technology and reports by members of the (general incorporated association) Architectural Institute of Japan, with a reading audience both in Japan and abroad.
