Cuscuta chinensis is often confused with the related naturalized species as C. pentagona. The specimens kept in the herbaria were examined and the distribution of C. chinensis in Japan was shown.
Two rare plants, Allium monanthum and Arisaema heterophyllum, were found in Mie Prefecture. The population of Allium monanthum in Mt. Fujiwara was one of the six localities in Kinki District and the population of Arisaema heterophyllum in Tsu was one of the four localities in Kinki and Tokai District.
