To further the promotion of industry, there is an increasing necessity to utilize the knowledge and technology of universities. In developing countries there is a great distance between Academia and Industry. Both have different aims, in the case of Universities there's a greater long-term goal where as Industry requires a faster, more practical result. Considering this issue, the University of Jordan established OCU (Out Reach Consultation Unit) which is an organization trying to increase the mutual cooperation of the University and Industry in Jordan.
This report was to establish the technique by dispatching an experienced Japanese business person to Jordan through JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency) for two years. Each country has a different approach and through this report, it is suggested that this technique could be utilized by other developing nations.
