Intranasal corticosteroid sprays (INCSs) are commonly used for therapy of allergic rhinitis (AR). Although, they are strongly effective for the treatment of AR, they sometimes tend not to be favored by patients. Adherence to regular use of INCSs is influenced by patient perception and preferences of products. Newly once a day, scant free type INCSs (Fluticasone Furoate, Mometasone Furoate, and Dexamethasone Cipecilate) are available in Japan, and there was a little number of paper considering for sensory attribute of these INCSs. In this review, we assess the relationship of sensory perceptions or patient preferences for each INCSs with adherence.
