We carried out a numerical study of elastic and acoustic full-wave inversion for surface-to-tunnel seismic tomography and verified the advantage of full-wave inversion method to the conventional travel-time tomography for the geological prediction ahead of the tunnel face.

The geophysical model for tunnel ground includes complicated low velocity zones such as fault zone, aquifer zone and alternations. Seismic waves also generated by some sources on ground surface and blasting on tunnel face are received on ground surface. In the elastic full-wave inversion, we calculated the sorce function compared finite different method with spectle element metohod, and obtained accurate images both of Vp and Vs, thus information of elastic modulus distribution. While, in the acoustic full-wave inversion, we also obtained accurate images of Vp by lower performance of computer CPU.

In order to design a suitable tunnel ventilation method among various ventilation methods in the tunnel construction site, conducting multi-point and frequent measurement of floating dust concentration and aiming to collect simply the location of dust in the tunnel by cheap and small dust sensor in this study. I have developed a simplified tunnel dust sensor by an improvement the light scattering dust concentration sensor developed for general household air purifiers. And, It was clear by simulated tunnel environmental experiments whether the developed dust sensor is suitable for measurement in a tunnel. As a result, it was found that the developed simplified tunnel dust sensor can measure the concentration generated during tunnel construction. In addition, it was also clear that the measurement results are almost the same as the digital dust sensor used for dust measurement in tunnel construction sites.

On a shield tunnel constructed in the soft ground whose groundwater level continues to recover, additional load is generated due to ground swelling. Therefore, it is important to estimate how much the additional load should increase in the future, when such a tunnel is maintained. In this paper, we detect this groundwater level recovering as the main factor of cracks in the tunnel with Fault Tree Analysis (FTA). Also, we clarify the mechanism of the additional load occurrence by two dimensional fully coupled seepage-stress FEM analysis. Furthermore, we predicted the future groundwater level by hyperbolic curve estimation method, and predict precisely when steel bars of a segment of this tunnel should yield.

Sumidagawa Sewer Trunk Line 3rd Project, which Tokyo Metropolitan Bureau of Sewerage ordered, was aimed to expand the middle part of the existing TBM tunnel by using large-scale radial ground freezing. We carried out the analysis of the influence of the ground freezing based on various monitoring data including ground deformation. As a result, we gained a trend regarding to formation of frozen soil, which actual uplift within the freezing ground is almost equal to frost heaving predicted by the general method called “Calculation method of 3D heaving deformation”. On the other hand, we also gained another trend which actual uplift on the ground is lower than the prediction due to the consolidation of soft clay in the unfrozen ground caused by the inflation pressure of the frozen soil. Furthermore, we adopted radial heating pipes and injection of cement-bentonite to the outside of the frozen soil, and confirmed their high suppression effect against the ground deformation.

In recent years, in some cases, the seismic resistance of temporary structures can not be ignored due to prolonged construction period or the like. However, the seismic behavior has not been clarified, and appropriate design methods have not been established at the present time. In this study, we focused on the braced excavation work which is frequently used in the temporary structure, and based on the estimation result of the seismic behavior by the nonlinear dynamic analysis, the application of the simplified evaluation method by the beam spring model We are examining the possibilities. In nonlinear dynamic analysis, an analysis model is created with reference to the displacement measurement result of the earth retaining wall described in the past literature, and after confirming the consistency between the excavation analysis and the measured value, Analysis is being carried out. As a result, We confirmed that there is a possibility that a dynamic analysis can be reproduced by the static analysis using the seismic deformation method.

There is little influence that sewage pipe rehabilitation method gives in environment neighboring than an open cut method by the rebuilding technique of the decrepit pipe and is utilized positively because I am superior in economy. Because rebirth materials are united with an existing pipe structurally, and the pipe method of construction to prepare it soon resists external force, an evaluation in neither of an existing pipe and the composition structure is necessary. In addition, I need time for a structure evaluation and the structure analysis of the existing pipe because it is said that it is basic to evaluate every pipe restoration. From this, the collation technique that it was possible was necessary with earthquake-resistant performance easily while decrepit sewage pipe would increase in future. This paper reports the study for the development of simple earthquake-resistant performance collation technique.
