The EDI (Electoronic Data Interchage) systems have been already applied to many problems in industries like banking trade. But, in the field of logistics, the applications of EDI systems have not been fully utilized as yet.
Since many problems has been, on the hand, produced in the relation to the heavy load of daily logistics operations which has been produced as a by-product of the innovation of information technology and minimum inventory policy. The consensus on the importance of LOGISTICS-STANDARDS has been formed in EIAJ (Electronic-Industries Association of Japan) and many other industries.
An unsolved problem is as ffollws
“How can we accomplish the COST-MINIMUM from suppliers to purchasers?”
The most important is, that, if purchasers, suppliers and transporters would alter the present selfish standpoint of view, the present social disadvantage could be reduced. We should understand more about daily logistics operations among them and should compromise each other as much as possible.
This paper is a result of many trials to find out some common ground based on EDI systems.
The proposal made in this paper would be taken up as a definite plan to get the social consensus.
