The chronical pain after a slipped disc operation cannot be denied. Often it is interpreted as a neurotic predisposition. This opinion may derive from the fact that even in modern methods like Rays or scintigrafic methods the cause of pain is not provable.

In addition to this, being seated, the patient is not able to bend the forehead down to his knees. By ths experiment, however, it is possible to liocalize the mean point of pain.
