For a background of construction of a low carbon society which aimed at global warming prevention and electric power shortage by the stop of the nuclear power plant under the influence of a nuclear power plant accident, promotion of much more energy saving is needed. In this research, I performed comparison of the energy consumption characteristic in six universities including Shokei University in Kumamoto city , or comparison of CO₂ emissions. This research shows that the Kuhonji campus had a little more than about twentypercent energy consumption density larger than Nirenoki campus at Shokei university. Furthermore, it turned out that nearly ten percent power saving was made at almost all universities the 2011 summer.

By using a MindMap on learning activities, learning is enhanced. To clarify the factors that tried two approaches. The first is verification of the differences before and after use the MindMap by survey questions for learners. The second is analysis of potential factors of the differences on survey questions. As a result, found three factors as the cause. Each factor "idea arrangement factor", "target grasp factor", "efficiency factor" was defined. By determining factors was suggested that the similarity of MindMap and brain enhance learning.

This research aimed to investigate the present health and eating situation of junior athletes and their parents. Further, we aimed to examine the changes in the dietary intake after dietary education intervention. Self-administered questionnaires based on dietary habits and lifestyles were used. There was no significant improvement in nutritional intake after the investigation period because the athletes' food intake was affected by seasonal menu.

To investigate the lifestyles and awareness of dietary habits of junior athletes and their parents, we conducted surveys by questionnaire before and after dietary education intervention. They showed that the boys took adequate exercise and had breakfast regularly. However, there was a gap between the amount of nutritional requirements and consumption. On the other hand, their parents tended to feel tired and stressed, and lacked exercise: the rate of the parents who exercised regularly was only about 40%. After the dietary education intervention, some improvement was found: for example, an increase in their awareness of well-balanced nutrition and high quality of foods such as organic products.
