We have owe investigated a few myriapodi found North China, but now again we are fortunate enough to get the opportunity of found in Nnrth studying many specimens brought by the zoologists who belong to the Party for, Scientific Exp-edition 1 edition to Shansi. What we have got are, 22 species of chilopods or centipedes and 5 species of diplopods or millipedes. We consider 8 species of them are new to science. Through this investigation we can get a little knowledge about myr-iapods in Shansi, which have been almost utterly unknown to us, yet still we must say that many collectings should be pursued to make. the field brighter to all. Many of myriapods in Shansi are the same as or have a close relationship to those that arefound in the main part of Korea or Japan proper.
