T. S. Eliot is one of the greatest innovators in the 20 th century literature. He is respected and admired as an outstanding intellectual in his days as well as today. My first attempt in this paper is to give answer to the question, ` What are the causes of his life long suffering and his often repeated neurosis? 'Alfred Adler's point of view is applied to this analysis. Secondly, analysis of T. S. Eliot's psychological type is studied with the help of C. G. Jung's ` Psychological Type and Individuation Process. 'Through the above stated observation, I intend to get deeper understanding about T. S. Eliot's inner reality and his process to the salvation of soul.
