A report is made of the influence of immunization with sera of foreign animals on the hemograrn of the crawfish (Cambarus Clarkii). Some properties of the blood of the crawfish were routinely estimated and the results obtained were as follows:
The number of blood cell was 8129±2532(n=23, June,1955), serum protein 5,8%, depression of freezing point 0,828°C and pH 7,5(n=75)
Various types of the blood cell of normal crawfish were counted and the results obtained were compared with those of crawfish immunized with goat's serum. But no definitive relationship was observed between the hemogram of normal crawfish and that of immunized crawfish.
Another approach seems to have been suggested to a further study of the immunological character of crawfish.
