In this study, numerical calculations are performed for Fukuyama Station Square, where the urban space will be reorganized, to understand the characteristics of the current urban thermal environment and the effect of improvements brought about by greening associated with the square’s reorganization. Additionally, by integrating the results of these analyses and user questionnaire responses, an “advisory map for thermal environment mitigation in the restructuring of Fukuyama Station Square” will be created. This map shows guidance on how the square should be developed and used with consideration for the urban thermal environment.
